He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Ernst and Lila Ernst (Knutson); and his wife Barbara. He is survived by: his children, Kamela Kyriakou (Demetrius) and Kevin Johnson (Cecilia); his siblings, Steve Ernst, Lisa Sidwell and Kristi Putman; his half-sister Sharon Oliverson; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Rebekah, Owen and Trace.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
