He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sassman and Joyce Sassman (Heetland); and his son Ryan Sassman. He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Guthrie (Kalan) of Otho; his grandchildren, Carter Sassman, Kaylie, Kaiden Guthrie, Alexis Sassman, Dustin and Cassie Welch; and his brothers, Kim Sassman (Mindy) of Shirbourn, MN, Mark Sassman (Kim) of Kingsburg, CA and Danny Sassman (Claudette) of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
