We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2023, at the age of 54, Thomas Wayne Banta of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Shelbyville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughters, Tiffany and Chyann; and his grandparents, William, Ethel Banta, Oscar and Florene Fredrickson.
He is survived by: his parents, Lewis Banta (Fran) of Belmond and Sandy Vestweber (Dennis); and his siblings, Nate Banta (Trina) of Belmond, Josh Banta (Tasha) of Forest City, Rachel Boots (Chris) of Goldfield, Tom Butler (Dawn) of Belmond, Dan Butler (Melanie) of Austin, TX, Traci Goll (Dan) of Garner and Troy Rasmussen (Brook) of Belmond. He is also survived by many nieces and nephew, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Tom Banta memorial fund in care of his family.
