He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Geist and Vonceil Geist; his wife Patricia Glenn; and his children, Scott Geist, Deanna Scanlan and Cheri Geist.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Geist of Abilene, TX, Cara Jondle of Lincoln, NE and Wendy Dillingham of Barnum, IA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
