It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia M. Walters of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Dolliver, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Walters; her parents, Roscoe Vigdal and Alvia Vigdal (Lane); her daughter Donna Sullivan; her sister Joyce Halbur; her grandson Michael Schmit; and her great grandchild Nicole Rial.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane DeBruin of Fort Dodge, Colleen Calder of Las Vegas, NV, Kris Rial (Mike) of Fort Dodge, Roxanne Shaw (Steven) of Las Vegas, NV and Patty Walters of Rockwell City; and her sister Janiece Foster of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
