He is survived by: his daughter Mollie Cook Jenks; his granddaughter Katie of Fort Dodge; his daughter Carrie Essary; his granddaughter Liliana of Ankeny; his sister Susan Cook of Lincoln, NE; his close friend Judy Payne of Fort Dodge; and his wife Susan Fitzgerald.
