He is survived by: his children, Jenni Szalat (Mike) and Jake Torkelson (Jon) of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob, Drew Szalat and Alivia Torkelson; his parents-in-law, Lois Christopher of Thor, Pearl Pedersen of Renwick, Mildred Torkelson of Humboldt, Jean Lehman Eagle Grove, Esther Presler (Keith) of Sauk Center, MN, Ruby Thompson (Don) of Jackson, FL, Russ Torkelson (Loralee) of Hackensack, MN, David Torkelson (Carol) of Vincent, Bruce Torkelson (Mary) of Gilmore City and John Davidson (Barb) of Fort Dodge; and his wife Paula Davidson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
