Nelson of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn M. Nelson (Anderson) and Selmer B. Nelson Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Nelson of Fort Dodge; his daughter Tamara "Tammy" Porter (Troy) of Fort Dodge; his granddaughter Amanda Van Every of Moorland, IA; his great grandchildren, Sydney and Lane; his siblings, James Nelson (Judy) of Sioux City, IA, Mary Berg of Dubuque, IA and Martha Kemp (Dave Kemp) of Dubuque; and his sister-in-law Teresa Trudeau (Ed) of Overland Park, KS.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
