She was predeceased by: her husband Garry Chase; her grandson Christopher; and her parents, Robert DeSmidt and Mildred DeSmidt (Johnson). She is survived by: her children, Kim Chase, Karla McCarthy (Brian), Tonya Chase (Frank Beehler) and Kerry Chase (Stephanie); and her siblings, Robert "Bob" DeSmidt, William "Bill" DeSmidt and Pamela Anderson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
