It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Reed of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Atlanta, Michigan, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Bowman and Crystal Bowman (Beech); her siblings, Judy Bowman, Nina Scheiffle, Carol Palmer and Cecil Bowman Jr.; her granddaughter Emily Elizabeth Porche; and her parents-in-law, Robert, Edna Reed, Roland Reed, Wendell Reed, Carl Reed and Betty Manguson.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. James Reed; her children, Jim Reed Jr. and Sarah Porche; her grandson Jordan Martin; her siblings, Linda Kinney, Barbara Duby, Cathy Green (Gordon) and Bruce Bowman; and her brother-in-law Pat Reed (Judy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
