She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Mathieson and Bernice Mathieson (Alitz); her sisters, Kay Jeffries (DeVere), Gail Hughes (Don) and Verna Dexter (Eldon); her son-in-law Dan Cockrum; and her parents-in-law, Margaret and Charles Auten.
She is survived by: her children, Deann "Kim" Cockrum-Rolfes (Dave) of Gowrie and Gerald Duane Auten, Jr. (Sue) of Norwich, VT; her grandchildren, Danyel Cockrum of Grimes, Andrew Cockrum (Jackie) of Fort Dodge, Walt Auten (Kristen) of Litchfield, NH, Mark Rolfes Solon (Deb) and Amie Vicker (Rob) of Johnston; her sister Dorothy Kester (Willis) of Fort Dodge; and her husband Gerald Auten of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a time for sharing at 7:00 PM all at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church -The family requests that all who attend to please wear a mask if able to do so.
