She is survived by: her sons, Chad Schany (Meaghan McCarthy) of Rosemont, MN, Travis Schany (Carly) of Graettinger and Tyler Ritchey (Amanda) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Brynn Schany, Beau Schany, Blake Schany and Riley Ritchey; her siblings, Mary McDougal (Dave) of Williamsport, MN and John Hertel (Hope) of Fallbrook, CA; her foster mother Emily Neet of Emmetsburg; and her foster brother Lonnie Neet (Denny Eagan) of Emmetsburg.
