He was predeceased by: his son Jeffery; his parents, Dewey Huffman and Pauline Huffman (Schreiber); his former wife Bernadine Bishop; and his wife Deloris Humphrey.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Huffman (Sherri) of Newton, Richard Huffman (Tata) of Independence and Dawn Farr (Steve) of Fort Dodge; and his stepsons, Dean Humphrey (Brenda) of Altoona and Gene Humphrey of Ventura. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
