He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Noble and Katherine Johnson (Canfield); his grandchildren, Benjamin Johnson and Karla Heller; his stepdaughter June Mason; and his sisters, Pearl Jensen, Judy Blair and Karen Espe.
He is survived by: his wife Emerlinda Echevarria Johnson of Fort Dodge; his children, Jim Johnson (Barb), Jeff Johnson (Jan) of Fort Dodge, Jerry Johnson of Webster City and Joleen Stephenson (Randy) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Kaleb Johnson (Holly), Jeremiah Johnson, Gabe Johnson (Natasha) and Christopher Johnson; his siblings, Ramona DeVan, Mary Nelson, Sharon Metzger and Noble Leroy Johnson; and his former wife Phyllis Westree. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
