With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Joseph Brungardt of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on July 9, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Brungardt and Susan Brungardt (Behrendt); and his sister Sandi Truelson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schreier; his children, Mindy Derrig (Tom) of Fort Dodge and Brent Brungardt (Beth) of Ames; his grandchildren, Brandon Derrig (Stacy), Morgan Midtling (Andy), Emma Brungardt, Preston Derrig, Elijah Brungardt, Quentin Derrig, Hayden Derrig and Irelyn Derrig; his great grandchildren, Maddie Midtling and Grayson Midtling; and his brother Bill Brungardt (Ann) of Waukee.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Friendship Haven or St. Edmond School.
