He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Mary Whitcome (Reiter); and his siblings, Thelma Fisher, Williard Whitcome, Marjorie Ziems and Beverly Sterns.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Whitcome; his daughter-in-law Deborah Whitcome (Przekaza); his grandsons, David of Kenosha, WI and Nathan of Cary; and his daughter Cindy Whitcome of Boston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a circle of friends.
