He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Sells and Viola Sells (Currier); his siblings, Juanita Kreball, Alice Ryan, Bob Sells, Bruce Sells and Mike Sells; and his great grandchild Easton Graves.
He is survived by: his children, Brandi Atkinson of Blackduck, MN and Richie Sells of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Danisha Sells, Macey Ams and Arianna Sells; his great grandchild Brittan Graves; and his siblings, Una Lee Johnson of Champaign Urbana, IL and Donald Sells (Bernie) of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
