He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Rotert and Mary Rotert (Hoff); his son Dennis Rotert; his grandson Kenny Miller; and his siblings, LeRoy, Eugene Rotert and Rosie Rotert.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Rotert of Fort Dodge, Connie Miklo (Tom) of Fort Dodge, Renee Underwood (Kyle) of Fort Collins, CO, Steve Rotert (Jean) of Plantation, FL, Jim Rotert of Rio Rancho, NM, Jan Miller (Kenny) of Manson and Kevin Rotert (Jill) of Fargo, ND; his daughter-in-law Sue Rotert of Littleton, CO; his siblings, Bernice Cronin of Sioux Falls, SD, Juanita Lauer of Salem, SD, Vince Rotert of Sioux Falls, SD, Jerome Rotert of Huron, SD, Carol Sabers of Sioux Falls, SD and Richard Rotert of Sioux Falls, SD.; and his wife Vivian Lauer of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be left to the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
