It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Thompson of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Webster City, Iowa, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell A. Thompson and Ethel M. Thompson (Thurmond). He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Ikenberry; his wife Liz Thompson of Fort Dodge; his children, Beth Garlie (Scott) of Prior Lake, MN, Lora Ray (Dan) of Burnsville, MN and Dan Thompson (Barry Haley) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Adam, Alyson, Abby, Samantha, Tyler and Natalie; and his close friend Al Messerly of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
