He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Reed and Alma Reed (Hollatz); his brother Dan Reed; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Norma Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Reed; his son Matt Reed (Jenny); his grandchildren, Cora Reed, Owen Reed and Emily Reed of Polk City; his children, Michael Reed and Stephanie McElroy (Chad Lundberg); his grandchildren, Colin McElroy, Logan McElroy, Will McElroy and Benjamin Lundberg of Fort Dodge; his son Chris Adams (Tina); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Adams and Braxton Adams of Gilbert, Arizona; his siblings, Lanny Reed (Barb) and Teri Reed; and his sister-in-law Pat Reed.
