He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul K. Nelson Sr. and Jean E. Roper Nelson Johnson; his sister Jean E. Scully; and his stepsister Bobbi Jo Wozney. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Kaye Zehr; his niece Machelle Showers (Kirk); his nephews, Keith (Deedra) and Patrick Scully (Karri); and his children, Dan Zehr (Jean), Rick Zehr (Linda) and Jan Butterfield (Paul). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, two stepsisters and a stepbrother.
