He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cahill and Bonnie Cahill (Beach); his wife Pam; and his siblings, David, Leon Cahill, Cathleen Beck and Donna Patterson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy and Nikki Cahill of Fort Dodge; and his sister Barbara Eichler of Pocahontas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
