He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Vincent and Rose "Marie" Trusty (Walsh); and his brother Gary Alan Trusty of Fort Dodge, IA.. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Marie Miner; and his grandson Logan Maxwell Miner.
