He was predeceased by: his son Mark; his parents, Rudy Olson and Bernice Olson; his siblings, Colleen Abens (Kenneth), Mavis Knutson (Elwood), Stan Olson (Bev) and Randy Olson; and his nephews, Skip Olson, Mike Olson and Keith Abens.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Olson; his children, Ellen Olson (Dick Williams) of Boulder, CO, Karen Stoeckel (Randall) of Minneapolis, MN and David Olson (Bre) of Fort Dodge; his grandchild Lindsey Dacey (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Alivia and Bennett; his grandson Michael Olson (Megan Tucker); his great grandchild Calvin; his grandchildren, Jackson Stoeckel, Hunter Olson and Reece Olson; and his former wife Mildred Jensen.
