He is survived by: his son Michael A. Lau (Courtney) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Parker and Peyton; his siblings, Carol Davis (John) of Fort Dodge and Tom Lau (Glenna) of Florida; his sisters-in-law, Liz Crittenden of Texas and Betty Lau of Wisconsin; his niece Karry Auten (Mary) of Fort Dodge; and his pets, Kirrah, Eli and Sasha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
