It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maybert F. Matsen (Fort Dodge, Iowa), born in Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2019, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Russell L.; her parents, George and Amanda; her siblings, Bertha, Elizabeth, Norma Dean and George; her grandsons, John and Brian; and her children-in-law, David and Brenda.
She is survived by: her children, Jess Matsen and Mary Lowe of Houston, TX. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Maybert may be directed to the Good Samaritan Fund at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge, IA.
