She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Coleman and Esther J. Coleman (Felkey); her husband Dennis LaVern Whittington; her son Chad Whittington; her siblings, JoAnn McCarville, Joyce Farmer, Roberta Brundige, Jerry Coleman, Beverly Selhaver, Larry Coleman, Merle Coleman, Paul Coleman, Esther Degelau, Marilyn Gibson, Jacki Beekman and Mavis Smith; and her brother-in-law Don Schaumburg.
She is survived by: her children, David Whittington (Kim) of Fort Dodge, Shelly Whittington (Mitchell Kraft) of Fort Dodge and Steven Whittington of Fort Dodge; her daughter-in-law Faith Whittington; her grandchildren, Krystal Brown (David), Kyle Whittington (Tatum), Kallie Whittington, Michelle Kraft, MaKenzie Kraft, MaCaella Kraft, Dylan Wolftornabane (Ashley), Breana Whittington, Wesley Whittington and Isabella Whittington; her sisters, Janice Hendrickson (Jack) of Fort Dodge and Sandra Schaumburg of Fort Dodge; her niece Becky Brundige; and her nephew Jimmy Hendrickson. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, many other nieces and nephews.
