She was predeceased by: her parents, William McElroy and Alice McElroy (Fitzgerald); her husband Edwin T. Lawler (Curly); and her siblings, Rose Cunningham, Urban McElroy and William McElroy.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Lawler (Alyce Ann) of Fort Dodge, Mark Lawler (Elizabeth) of Sioux City, Marianne Post (Rick) of Algona and Rita Lawler of Portland, OR; and her grandchildren, Michael Lawler (Tina), Anthony Lawler, Kyle Lawler (Megan), Jennifer Hansch (Troy), Darren Berger (Krissy), Michelle Bryngelson (Jesse), Kurt Lawler (Crystal), Jacob Lawler (Kelly) and Andrew Lawler (Lauren). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
