She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Kuebler and William Howard King; her daughter Shelly Gunderson (David Gunderson); and her brother Patrick Lee King. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Gunderson (Jill) of Jewell and Joshua Gunderson (Stephanie) of Fort Dodge; and her siblings, Robin King of Moorland, Betsy King of Algona, Alan Jessen (Angie) of Fort Dodge, James Jessen (Wendy) of Isle, MN, Julie Cox (Kevin) of Fort Dodge and Mark Jessen of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and Cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
