She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sauscha Ayala, Saydie Elliott (Austin) and Dana Ayala; her great grandchildren, Brylea Grady, Dana Ayala Jr., Tyson Ayala, Delilah Ayala, Caden Ellliott and Lucas Elliott; her stepsons, Michael E. Gemmel of Webster City and Landon J. Gemmel of Des Moines; and her husband Michael Gemmel.
