She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Wheat and Calvina Wheat (Dantzler); her husband William McCaleb; her son Wade Wheat; and her siblings, Lillian, Dannie Wheat and Woodrow Wheat.
She is survived by: her daughter Brittany McCaleb; her granddaughter Sadie Anderson; and her sisters, Linda McDonald, Alice Wheat, Charyl Colvin and Carolyn Wheat. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
