He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Mae Shivers and Rev. James Shivers; his grandparents, Charlie Mae Brown, Ethel Shivers and Tom Culpepper; and his siblings, Floyd Shivers and Melanie Gaye Seward.
He is survived by: his children, Jayne Bartrom (Cory) of Wesley, IA, Devontae Shivers of Fort Dodge and Marzia Shivers of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Avery, Ariya and Mavryck; and his siblings, Florence Shivers, Billy Shivers (Barbara), Wynetta Brown, Michael Shivers, Joelaine Al-Hameed (Hammad), Dartonya Shivers (Rhonda), Ira Shivers (Jenny), Dixie Smith (Vern), Sheldon Shivers and Katario Roby.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.
