She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Karen Bradley (Jack) of Fort Dodge, Michael McCarten (Jan) of Innsbrook, MO and Katherine "Kip" McCarten of Aurora, CO; her brothers, Robert Welp and Ambrose Welp; her parents, Walter Welp and Mabel Welp (Saunders); and her husband Bill McCarten.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be left to Unity Point Hospice.
