He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Swanberg and Ella Swanberg (Garton); his son John Swanberg; his granddaughters, Amanda Forbes and Brandi Swanberg; his great grandchildren, Blair and Angel; his siblings, Lawrence Swanberg and LaVonne Porter; and his daughter-in-law Sandra R. Swanberg.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Marsh of Fort Dodge; his children, Ronald Swanberg (Sally) of Fort Dodge, Lon Swanberg of Otho, Vicky Rink (Greg) of Manson and Sheila Bacon (Marvin) of Otho; and his daughter-in-law Sandy L. Swanberg of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
