She was predeceased by: her children, John, James and Joni Strait; and her parents, William McDowell and Marilla McDowell (Hubley).

She is survived by: her son Jeff Tutor; her grandsons, Brandon, Grant and Jay Strait; and her great grandchildren, Wesley, Benson, Owen, Oaklynne and Oxley.
