She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill Hanson; her sister Lisa Sharp (Pete) of Olathe, KS; her children, Lori Whitaker (Todd) of Tonganoxie, KS and Dave (Anne) of Las Vegas; her grandchildren, Nolan, Ryan and Samantha; her great grandchild Brody; her sisters, Marlys Reiland (Marv) and Mary Bruhl (Elwyn); her sister-in-law Pat Mickelson; and her brother Keith Mickelson. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Unity Point Hospice or to Unity Point Cancer Center.
