She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Madsen and Alice Madsen (Mathiason); her husband Roger Hansel; her brother Larry Madsen; and her sister-in-law Annji Madsen.
She is survived by: her former husband Danny Hammersland; her sons, David Hammersland (Michelle) of Fort Dodge and Matt Hammersland of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Halie, Kaleb, Taylor and Tanner; and her brother Mike Madsen Sr. of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
