She is survived by: her children, Dave Pfannes (Margaret) of Ankeny, Steve Pfannes (Jane) of Boone, Jerry Pfannes (Brenda) of Ankeny and Lisa Kelley (Steve) of Spirit Lake; her sister Alice Sandt of Fairmont, MN; her sister-in-law Marie Shumski; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Burke (Andy), Sara Fleckenstein (Jake), Megan Wailes (Andy), Matthew Pfannes, Kristine Cook (Cody), Bridget Pfannes, Adam Pfannes, Amanda Stukenholtz, Hannah Lange (Dustin), Josh Milliken (Amber) and Jordan Milliken (Haden). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
