She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Wheat and Calvinia Wheat (Dantzler); her daughter Michelle Williams; her siblings, Dannie Wheat and Woodrow Wheat; her nephews, Wade Wheat and Nicholas Wheat; her grandson Edward Jayce Brown; her stepdaughter Shemoriah Johnson; and her pet Hustler.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea Naylor Outlaw (Lamar) and Juan Naylor (Kris); her close friend Johnnie B. Naylor; her grandchildren, Simoné Wheat, Jerrale Williams, Calvina Naylor, Ravaé Wheat, Courtney Williams, Makla Naylor, Jaichelle Naylor, Akasha Naylor-Lambert, Jordan Taylor and Janeka Brown; her sisters, Linda McDonald, Martha Wheat, Alice Wheat, Charyl Colvin and Carolyn Wheat; her goddaughter Yolanda Presswood-Clayton; and her close friends, Nita Jones of Des Moines and Rosie Clayton of Clinton. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, step-sons, step-daughters.
