He is survived by: his wife Lois Byrne of Fort Dodge; his sons, Matt Byrne (Dawn) of Manson and Dan Byrne (Meg) of Bettendorf; and his grandchildren, Melissa Byrne of Ankeny, Adam Byrne (Lexie) of Bondurant and Cate Byrne of Bettendorf.
