She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rice and Carrie Rice; her husband James Canavan; her siblings, Teresa, Isabelle and Stanley; and her great grandchild Ethan.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Canavan of Fort Dodge, Linda Murdock (Gary) of St. Louis, MO and Sharon Hannah (Brad Mortenson) of Casa Grande, AZ; her grandchildren, Erin Murdock of St. Louis, MO, Andy Murdock (Heather) of Le Claire, Jeremy Canavan of Stuart and Jon Canavan (Jennifer) of Milwaukee; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis, Lyla, Evelyn and Jocelyn.
