She is survived by: her husband Norman Birkey of Fort Dodge; her children, Heather Dalton (Ryan) of Ankeny and Timothy Birkey (Kara) of Algona; her grandchildren, Zac Kibby, Cal Birkey, Cate Birkey, Clare Birkey, Abbie Dalton, Ellie Dalton and Nolan Dalton; and her brothers, Paul Beneke (Marsha) of Palmer and Dean Beneke (Jayne) of Pocahontas.
