Leiting of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Rutten of Breda, IA; his children, Roxanne Flattery (Dan) of Fort Dodge, Brenda Leiting of Fort Dodge, Carla Christensen (Terry) of Waterloo, NE, Patrick Leiting (Jennifer) of Fort Dodge and Dee Huss (Michael) of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Michael Flattery (Christina) of Boston, MA, Patrick Flattery of Napa, CA, Clare Flattery of Fort Dodge, Colin Flattery of Des Moines, Erin Flattery of Winona, MN, Sean Flattery of Iowa City, Jessica Schafer (Jamie) of Ankeny, Brandon Christensen of Waterloo, NE, Haleigh Tebben (Josh) of Novato, CA, Michaela, Alexandra Leiting of Fort Dodge, Danielle Huss of Waukee, Nicole Young (Nick) of Grimes and Hannah Huss of Iowa City; and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Jade Schafer and Chloe Young. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Parish, St. Edmond Catholic School or left to the discretion of the family.
