With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Dean Gilliland of Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on January 7, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilliland and Ruby Gilliland (Finney); his brother Myron Gilliland; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Chism and Larry Zeman.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Niemand; his son Kyle Gilliland (Katie); his granddaughters, Kaylynne of Fort Dodge and Brooklynn of Fort Dodge; his siblings, Sharon Chism of Greenfield, IA, John Gilliland (Diane) of Humboldt, IA, Pat Sharkey (Rick) of Omaha, NB, Jeff Gilliland (Cheryl) of Gretna, NB, Colleen Zeman of Fort Dodge, Vicki Fenske (Jim) of Goldfield, IA and Connie Coldwell (Steve) of Lawton, OK; and his sister-in-law Ulla Gilliland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
