He is survived by: his children, Geoff Engels (Kalleen) of Fort Dodge and Angela Ruch of Knoxville, Iowa; his grandchildren, Madi Simpson (Nick), Brayden Ruch, Sydney Engels and Brielle Ruch; and his siblings, Kevin Engels (Kim) of Cedar Falls, Lori Passow (Jon) of Clare and Deb Estland of Fort Dodge.
