It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Douglas Brock of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Webster City, Iowa, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Brock and Hazel Brock (Schutt); his parents-in-law, Aloysius and Erlena Deters; and his brother-in-law Leo Deters.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Marie Ann Deters; his son Nicholas Brock (Laura Barrett) of Marion; his granddaughters, Jocealynn and Veronica Brock; his siblings, Keith Brock (Patsy) of Webster City and Connie Brock (Mark Anderson) of Woolstock; and his pet Gidget. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be given in Larry's memory to Unity Point Hospice- Fort Dodge or University of Iowa Hospitals for ALS research.
