He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lane. He is survived by: his son Nelson Ball of Webster City; his mother Betty Lane (Paul Peterson) of Callender; and his sisters, Sue Anderson (Greg) of Gowrie, Nancy Burger (Alan) of Gowrie and Jeannie Streit (Karl) of Gowrie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
