It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kermit Smith of Fort Dodge, Iowa, born in Obert, Nebraska, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Smith and Violet Smith (Nielsen); his brother Kendall Smith; and his sister-in-law Emmalyn. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jensen; his daughters, Lynnsay Alt (Howard Halligan) and Allyson Thompson (Greg); and his siblings-in-law, Gerry Jensen (Joyce) and Carol Smith. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed towards the Country Ministry or St. Olaf Lutheran Church.
