She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Dessinger and Esther Dessinger (Taylor); her stepfather Vernon Richards; her former husband Donald Pingel Jr.; her sister Kathy Justice; and her daughter-in-law Pam Pingel.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Daniel Pingel of Callender, IA, Tammy Jo Pingel of Fort Dodge and Donald William Pingel III of Fort Dodge; her grandchildren, Bobby, Jonathon, Danielle (Sam) and Ashley (Cory); her siblings, Kevin Dessinger (Cheri) of Mount Ayr, IA, Karen Richards of Fort Dodge and Keith Richards of Fort Dodge; her half-brother Terry Dessinger (Martha) of Fort Dodge; and her brother-in-law Jim Justice of Lampe, MO.. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
