She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Wessel and Eula Wessel; and her husband Hugh Briggs of Rockwell City. She is survived by: her brother Robert Wessel; and her sons, Brad (Julie) of Portland, TN and Gene (Mary) of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
